
Loose Ends
Canadian records have turned up information about a Brinsmead in Canada whose roots we have not been able to trace. Perhaps someone can fill in the blanks. This is what we know so far.
Richard Brimsmead
The book The Central Canadians lists a Richard Brinsmead living before 1837 in Medonte Township (ON8 - 289). Also, a Richard Brinsmead is listed as having given up land registrations in 1836 - Land Records 136369 and 138363. See: www.ingeneas.com/free/index.html. There is an entry in the Ontario Geneaology society Records as follows:
